Origami in Paper Land

About Origami in Paper Land

The Paper Land logo: a little paper doll

Hi, I'm Rebecca, the folder behind Origami in Paper Land. I make easy paper crafts that families can fold together: origami animals and flowers, paper toys that move, kirigami, holiday decorations and little paper life hacks.

How it started

Paper Land began as a YouTube channel where I film each craft from start to finish, with my hands and the paper in view, so you can fold along at your own speed. Many viewers asked for pictures they could follow without pausing the video every few seconds. So I built this website to sit next to the channel.

The heart of Paper Land is the Paper Jungle: a whole jungle folded from paper, with trees, leaves and animals that really move. Every animal has its own tutorial, so you can grow your jungle piece by piece.

How each tutorial is made

What you can find here

Many tutorials are also available in Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Swedish, Ukrainian and Russian. Pick your language in the menu.

For families

The crafts are made for children and grown-ups to enjoy together. Kids can make them with the help of their parents: watch the video, follow the step-by-step pictures and fold side by side. Steps with scissors, glue or small parts are marked, and should always be done with an adult.

Always free

Everything here is free: the tutorials, the printables and the app. There are no accounts and nothing to buy. To keep it that way, the website shows ads from Google AdSense. Visitors in Europe are asked for their consent first, and "Do not consent" is just as easy, as explained in the privacy policy. The app has no ads.

Names and brands

All drawings, photos, printables and texts are my own work. When a craft is inspired by a sport, a game or a holiday, the name is only used to describe it. Paper Land is not connected with any club, game studio or brand and uses none of their logos.
